Returning-device approval is the intended normal Aegir flow. This browser does not have a live trusted-device approval channel yet, so Beta-1 uses the password fallback created during signup.
Trusted device approval
No enrolled Aegir app is available for this browser.
Desktop/mobile approval with biometric, passkey, Windows Hello, or device PIN is not presented as complete until a real enrolled app can approve this sign-in request.
Returning user behavior
Aegir will prefer app approval once a real trusted device exists.
Until the desktop/mobile app can receive and approve sign-in requests, password fallback is the honest Beta-1 path for setup, recovery, different-account sign-in, and browsers with no trusted device.
