Why Aegir

Security belongs to the user

Aegir is built around trusted-device presence, encrypted profile handling, and selective data release instead of broad routine tracking.

Beta-1 requires the user to choose a trusted app path so local secure unlock can become part of the authentication flow.

  • Create a persisted account with your email and password.
  • Verify the account using the issued Beta-1 verification token.
  • The server signs this browser in with an authenticated Aegir cookie.
  • The dashboard and developer console use that same authenticated session.
Beta-2

Mobile and QR validation are not part of the required Beta-1 login path.

  • Mobile app validation is Beta-2 until it can complete a live browser session.
  • QR login is Beta-2 until a real QR claim signs the browser in.
  • KYC/vendor proofing is Beta-2 on the public web flow until production vendor integration is ready.
Lost your verification token?

Get a new verification token.

Beta-1 shows the verification token on screen instead of emailing it, so it is easy to lose by closing the tab. Enter the email and password you signed up with and a new token is issued here.

Your password is required because the token is displayed rather than sent. Without that, anyone could verify anyone's account.
